Ahmad Karim has over 30 years of experience managing construction projects for major clients such as ISTHA, IDOT, and CDOT. His responsibilities include working with area residents and public agencies, and ensuring project completion in accordance with contract documents, budget, and schedule. Mr. Karim provided leadership for the U.S. 6 (159th Street) Reconstruction for which Globetrotters received an IDOT Award for Exceptional Consulting Engineering Service.
Mr. Karim’s experience includes IL 38 (Roosevelt Road) at Union Pacific Railroad and Kautz Road, I-80/94 electrical installation and bridge reconstruction from IL 394 to the state line, and the award-winning I-355 South Extension. He has managed numerous projects for the City of Chicago such as the Michigan/Oak Interchange Rehabilitation and the Historic Cherry Avenue Bridge Rehabilitation. Prior to joining Globetrotters, Mr. Karim was an Expressway Construction Supervisor and Resident Engineer for IDOT.
