Globetrotters provided construction management for an 8.3 mile reconstruction and widening project on I-90 between Genoa Road (M.P. 25.0) and Anthony Road (M.P. 33.3), and for the Genoa Road and Getty Road Bridge reconstruction and widening projects over I-90.
In addition to on-site inspection and typical construction inspection responsibilities, Globetrotters provided detailed project progress schedule review and coordination, maintained up-to-date log of potential contract changes that included budget and cost impacts, processed extra work and change orders, and provided utility conflict coordination.
This $89 million project was recognized as an Honor Award recipient by American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Illinois in their 2015 Engineering Excellence Awards.
