Pavement Resurfacing Program for City of Chicago Heights

Chicago Heights, Illinois

Globetrotters and the City of Chicago Heights developed a Capital Improvement Program to improve roadways and drainage within a large area of the city. The improvements consisted of upgrading pedestrian routes for ADA compliance, extensive curb and gutter replacement to mitigate localized drainage issues, resurfacing residential roadways, and restoration to adjacent public areas, all utilizing Community Development Block Grant (CDBG) funding.

Globetrotters designed pavement resurfacing for several roads, which included topographical survey, the procurement of existing utilities data, and preliminary design work.
