Sung Lee, PE

Sung Lee has over 30 years of experience providing project management and engineering services for Phase I and II transportation projects for major agencies in Illinois and Indiana. He was the Project Manager for Phase I Studies for the I-190 Collector-Distribution Roadway into O’Hare International Airport and design of the I-355 South Extension for the Illinois Tollway. Mr. Lee recently provided oversight for the design of a four-span steel plate girder structure for the 25th Avenue Grade Separation, a $20 million, high priority project to improve rail efficiency in northeastern Illinois.

Mr. Lee’s diverse projects have included roadway reconstruction, interchange improvements, bridges, rapid transit stations, flood control, and parking facilities, as well as planning and feasibility studies involving environmental assessment and public involvement.
