Mike Albert, CPA

Mike first joined Globetrotters in 2011 as the firm’s Controller, overseeing all accounting operations, financial reporting, internal control evaluation, improvement and cash management. He also monitored compliance, reporting and auditing requirements for contracts with state and local government agencies. 

Mike earned his degree in accounting from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and is a Certified Public Accountant who built a 20+ year career in a variety of senior accounting roles with leading corporations. 

In 2015, Mike assumed the role of Finance Manager for Globetrotters. He was promoted to CFO in 2018.

A lifelong resident of the Chicagoland area, Mike is a self-described DIYer of household projects and enjoys spending weekends with his family. He and his wife Barb have four grown children and are enjoying being first-time grandparents.
