McHenry County Fiber Optic Network Design-Build
We received an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Illinois Merit Award for our work as the Design-Build contractor for all aspects of this project, which provided a Cisco 10Gb Optical network with over 20 miles of single-mode fiber optic backbone and laterals linking McHenry County College with McHenry County Courthouse/Administration Center; as well as additional 1Gb scalable links to the City of Woodstock, Woodstock School District, and Woodstock Fire and Police Departments. We also provided field inspection and support as well as testing documentation and implementation of the entire system.
