Globetrotters provides water resources planning and design services for clients including municipal and regional agencies, state and county transportation agencies, federal government and private sector clients.
Globetrotters has provided hydrological, hydraulic, and storm sewer modeling, and prepared hydraulic reports and location drainage studies. Globetrotters has also managed environmental documentation and overseen the preparation of Environmental Assessments involving wetland delineation.
Globetrotters is experienced in sustainable stormwater management practices including porous pavement, green roofs, rainwater harvesting and innovative methods such as geothermal ponds. Globetrotters has provided design for dozens of sewer improvement projects and managed the construction of hundreds of water main installations. We are prequalified with IDOT in Hydraulic Reports – Waterways Typical and Complex; Special Studies – Pump Stations, Special Studies Sanitary; Location Design Studies – New Construction, Reconstruction and Rehabilitation; and Special Services – Landscape Architecture.
In addition, Globetrotters has provided master planning, assessment, design and construction phase services for pumping stations and water treatment plants. These projects have included pumping system improvements, building system upgrades, security enhancements, building envelope restoration, and site improvements.
Globetrotters is experienced at coordinating with the diverse stakeholders involved in these projects, and has successfully prepared grant applications to obtain project funding. Globetrotters’ experience includes compliance with funding sources such as CDBG, TIF, LAPP, MFT, and CMAQ.
