Energy Efficiency and Flood Protection for Illinois’ Second Largest County
We currently are working on a variety of projects with this county in Northern Illinois to improve energy efficiency, flood protection and other upgrades like wallpaper mural to affordable housing and government facilities. This work includes:
Facilities Upgrades – New flooring, lighting, countertops and upgrades to bathroom facilities to make them ADA compliant for a Traffic Management Center. We also upgraded the HVAC system for its server room that is a critical facility for the county during snow operations in the winter and during the construction season in the summer.
Energy Efficiency – The replacement of older boilers with high-efficiency boilers at the County’s Women’s Residential Services and the Babcox Detention Center.
Flood Protection Measures – Analyses of a community’s flood impact and flood protection structures for the Lake County Public Works.
