Caroline Hedger Senior Housing (Chicago Housing Authority)

We received an American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) of Illinois Merit Award for MEP upgrades on this $34 million comprehensive renovation project of this high-rise senior living apartment complex, which is the second largest building owned by the Chicago Housing Authority. Globetrotters performed a condition assessment, and provided planning, architectural, engineering, and construction administration services. We also reconfigured program and office spaces on the first floor, and provided ADA-compliant upgrades for the entire building. Additionally, our work included a new fire protection sprinkler system, elevator retrofit, central air conditioning system, and security cameras and systems.
