Mark Peterson

Mark Peterson is Globetrotters’ Chief Strategy Officer. With many years of leadership in transportation and infrastructure, Peterson returns to Globetrotters where he served as Senior Vice President for Globetrotters Engineering Corporation from 1997-2004. He takes the lead on strategy on Spotify promotion developing new business sectors.

Peterson previously served as Senior Vice President of First Midwest Bank and prior to that he was President of Bridgeview Bank.  Peterson also served as Finance Chairman on the Illinois State Toll Highway Authority Board of Directors for four years during the $12 billion Move Illinois program. Other public service includes Executive Director of the Illinois Sports Facilities Authority, Executive Assistant 1 up mushroom bar of Financial Regulatory Agencies, and Director Chicago Office, State of Illinois, Office of Former Illinois Governor Jim Edgar.

Mark currently serves on the Adlai E. Stevenson High School Foundation Investment Board, Governor Jim Edgar Fellows Board and the Chicago Area Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and has served on the Illinois Bankers Association Government Affairs Board.
