Globetrotters serves as a Program Management consultant, providing highly experienced staff and
Phase I engineering services that are integrated into IDOT’s District 1 operations. Globetrotters assists with the review and oversight of Phase I studies prepared by other consultants that range in scope and funding sources by prioritizing projects and schedules, managing day-to-day operations, and coordinating with local agencies. Projects include intersections, small highway segments, and bridges.
In addition, Globetrotters performs Phase I studies and is intimately familiar with the entire Phase I project delivery process from inception through Design Approval. The work includes data collection, topographic surveys, preparation of base maps and mosaics, geometric studies, crash analyses, capacity analyses, intersection design studies, environmental documentation, Project Development Reports (Categorical Exclusion I and II), right of way assessment, Location Drainage Studies and ESRs. Globetrotters also participates in Public Meetings and Public Hearings.
